Philu vs Frost – Goan Chic Poetry Night | Original Storyboard Art on Wood
Robert Frost had miles to go before he slept. Philu has Feni.
This original storyboard piece is hand-painted on an oval wooden panel with attached story plaque.
Goan chic Philu is fond of poetry, after all she’s been the inspiration of many poets herself. However, she was perplexed by a few lines from one poem in particular, "... the woods are dark and deep and I have miles to go before I sleep." Philu wondered why would anybody go in to the woods when it’s dark and deep. Isn’t it wiser to rather drink Feni in the night and sleep, wake up fresh in the morning and then go for a mile-long walk? One can even avoid ‘Frost’ bites like that, she thought. Smart girl, Philu!
Literary critique meets Goan susegad. Philu’s logic is undefeated.
